My boyfriend used to set them up on a big National Trust property as part of an education role, we tracked one down in the Scottish Highlands the summer after he finished the job I'd love to do more actually! I did remove a slug from the one we found, he wasn't a very good piece of treasure!
When I didn't have exams to worry about, I did a lot of geocaching as it's good for my map reading and I love walking - rather a newfound love but something I've grown to really enjoy. It's best when everything's dry, of course!
My husband does it especially if he has to take me to any shows. At the last Julip live he tried to find the one round there but failed
That's a great idea! I can suggest it to my boyfriend next time I want company on a ride somewhere he doesn't particularly want to go... (Once I had a job interview and he managed to find a really weird "magic museum" in the next town, we met up afterwards and he had a certificate in spells...)
I tried this phone app version called Ingress where the caches are virtual, all mocked up to be some sort of territory occupation war between people and aliens - I didn't really get into it but it seemed to have a pretty big community!
