Hi everyone, just wondering if you can give me some advice on storing/displaying my Julips.
At the moment they're on shelves over the stairs/hall. This is the coldest part of my flat because there aren't any heaters there. I picked two ponies up to bring them into the living room (heated) for tack changes and was really surprised how cold they felt in my hands. Even worse I could see a sort of sheen like condensation on them once they were in the warm which rubbed off! I just wondered if getting so cold can damage the latex?
The other option is to move them all into the living room where there is an electric heater - it keeps the room at 5 degrees when I'm at work/at night, then heats it up to about 20 degrees for a few hours in the evening. Would this be better, or worse because of all the variation in temperature?
Thank you!

It's my understanding that a constant, level temperature is best for them, so I'd avoid temperature spikes and keep them somewhere where it doesn't vary too much. But tbh because latex is a natural product it kinda does what it likes...

Mine stay in my bedroom which is quite chilly, tie had 2 foals in his living room and when I got them down for the julip show they started to harden and his blue foal had darkened compared to my blue foal. His living room gets hot in the evening and I think that's what did it :/ if your worried abound condensation you can get damp extractors for £1 in asda you could put it on the shelf with them

Hmm thank you both of you, they will stay over the stairs now accompanied by a pound shop damp trap, thanks for the idea Steffi! I'd meant to get some for my wardrobe too so I bulk purchased, lol.
