I severely limited my choices to maximise my chances, yet of course my browser got a hiccup when I was bidding for the silvetfix that I actually wanted the most 😂 At least I got a Dachshund!

Wow, I just checked and I have! There was a name ahead of me when my reply posted, honest (or I never would've tried for the cob stallion immediately afterwards!) Somebody must've deleted their reply to aim for a different horse they liked better later on. Thanks for telling me, and thank goodness I didn't 'win' another one after or I'd be in the awkward position of looking like I was trying to be greedy and grab loads That was me, I was bidding on behalf of someone else, but they got another horse in the meantime, so I decided to back off! Sorry for the confusion!

I have no idea what just happened!!! I started off by forgetting that I actually had to sign in Then I manically kept hitting buttons!! I know I didn't get any ponies or the casual rider I was after but I think I may have got a fox and some hedgehogs? I was after a curled up fox and I think I might just have got one, and I also was after rabbits and hedgehogs (don't think I got rabbits but not sure I may have posted twice in the hedgehog category and got a few Sadly no Daschund even although I have a name ready, so I will just have to order one!

That's ok Magda, no need to apologise and I'm really happy with the one I got - him and the cob stallion were the two I've been thinking about all week, and I had pale dappled greys out of the previous two spares batches so it's probably for the best that I had a different colour this time or everyone would think I was doing it on purpose I'm just glad Sarah told me I'd bought something before I wandered off and tried to buy more things Thank goodness for this thread, hey!

Wow that was a manic 45 mins, I think I did pretty well although I'm not sure I dare confess to my OH how much I've just spent! I think I got the dachshund I had my eye on but the numbering in the comments got a bit confusing so I'll have to wait for Laura to confirm I think. Then I was so busy trying to work out if I got it I managed to miss the next 2 lots of dogs so missed out on 2 I really wanted. But never mind, I might have to see if I can sneak something similar onto my Christmas order

Spares night is always so exciting! And nerve wracking! I am so happy to have gotten the palomino dressage horse! I had really had my heart set on him ever since I first saw him, and I was worried about him being the first horse! So I feel very lucky to have managed to get him!

Congratulations on your dressage horse! I wasn't checking in to see who got what at the start, cos I was too worried that the ones on my wishlist were coming up soon I never know whether it's giving us a better chance when fall for an early horse (when a lot of people will be sitting on their hands, waiting for later posts to unlock), or a late horse (when a lot of people have got one reserved already, and aren't trying any more)

A huge thank you to everyone who took time out and put their brave pants on to face the ordeal of another spares night! I actually get really nervous for you all and I was keeping my fingers crossed that the internet wouldn't go down as it has a habit of doing (normally just when I'm about to bid on something on ebay!) I hope most of you managed to get something you wanted and apologies if you didn't, it's a shame we can't have a few more spares nights but with all the orders it makes it difficult to find the time, it took me well over a year to get these few together! As usual it will take me a while to sort out who bought what but I will message you over the next few days once I have got it worked out, thank you again for your continued support, it was lovely to see so many people chatting on the forum tonight, just like the old days!

its harder to wait for the late ones, much too easy to get swept in to the frenzy early!

Yes, thanks to you for the effort in making the spares and organising the sales night - it's really lovely to feel like we're taking part in something together, like the sales scrum round the table at a live show : although the main aim is to get hold of something exciting to take home ourselves, there's also the community aspect of seeing who bought what, congratulating people who picked up the ones we liked or something they really loved, commiserating with anyone who missed out, and discussing future orders of certain colours or pets which are in somebody else's hands
