Is this a HOTY or Original? If it’s a HOTY it’s generally just referred to as a ‘Cob’ and if it’s an original, it’s actually a Working Hunter, not a Farm Cob FOR SALE JULIP MODEL HORSE TOY

Please help me, I don't know if it is a Hoty or an original. I am not real familiar with the Julip horses. I am mostly an Arab collector. I have only bought a couple Julips. When I bought this one that is what the girl said it was called. I think it is an older model. Thanks, Echo (Sheri)

HOTY models were made from slightly flexible plastic but can’t really be posed like an original, it’s hard to explain the difference between the plastic and latex unless you’ve held them. The main difference is the degree of flexibility, an Original is very bendy and holds a pose because of the wires in their legs The HOTY mould was first launched in 2003 but was later made into an originals mould which really confuses things! You can find a list of the HOTY paint jobs here, so you may be able to recognise the paint job you painted over - lovely finished custom by the way labratango.com/JulipID/HOTYmolds/cob.html

I’m pretty sure it’s a HOTY looking at the harder edges of the ears and the seam lines.
