We Have a Latex Master! Thank you so much to Donna Chaney (and Mark the mould maker) for all their hard work in getting the Heavy Horse to this important stage and making the latex master from the original sculpture. This now means it can go off to the mould makers at the end of March to be made into several working moulds, which will in turn will provide the models which we can offer for sale. Thank you all for your patience, it's been a bit of a longer job than anticipated but the end is hopefully in sight......very exciting! DSC_0008 DSC_0009

It looks either like saddle soap or some kind of giant gummy sweet. LOL

I already have plenty ideas for this guy! Shire, Clydesdale, Suffolk, Brabant, Polish Coldblood, Percheron... and the list just keeps getting longer!

Just a quick update on this handsome chap, he is now at the mould makers having some working moulds made from him, hopefully they will be ready by the end of April/middle of May, the new moulds then have to dry out a bit before they can be used but hopefully it shouldn't be too much longer

Out of curiosity to see what it would actually look like I did a quick (OK, sort of quick) mock up of the first model I hope to be able to get on this mould. (I had to remove a certain portion of the mould's anatomy though cos this horse is a mare). The colour is copied from the bay feathered cob from the last spares lot. It's a bit rough but she looks really nice though and now I wish she was already real.

Wow, looks amazing! Can’t wait to see this guy in more colours. Looks so sweet. I have a real soft spot for drafters.
