Hi everyone! A few months ago i stumbled across a pretty wonderful find at my local charity shop. A solid wood stable with a tack room that included a whole bunch of accessories. The lovely MaisieMou on Instagram informed me that it is the De Agostini "I love horses and riding" magazine stable. Its worn and torn in some places but I love it! It's a little off scale for the Julip's, but I can fix that. Today I de-constructed it to start repairs, starting with sanding and re-painting. My goal is to have it "sections", the tack room and the stables, so I can move it around more easily. The one stable will be made into three, the third stable being a little stall for Poldark when the weather is to rough for him to be outside! Photo 22-11-18, 4 42 03 pm by Hayley Thompson, on Flickr Sanded back all the old glue and re-built the stable section. Removed all the hardware from the old stable and will turn it into these two, with the end stall being a storage section/temporary stable for Poldark. The other section, the tack room, also got built again and its all ready to be re-painted!

Ooooh, I can’t wait to see what you do with this! I remember finding the first issue on holiday and really wanting to collect the whole lot but I never saw any of the other issues! XD

Photo 25-11-18, 4 25 46 pm by Hayley Thompson, on Flickr I'm really enjoying modifying this little barn! Its had a fresh coat of paint on the walls and floor. The original stall walls have been put back into to create the two smaller stables. The original stable door has been flipped around to create the front and the second stable wall is painted balsa wood I had in my supplies. The tack room has also had a fresh coat of paint! I can't wait to start adding more hardware and barn supplies! The herd are pretty excited to see their new home.

It turned out absolutely wonderful! It's nice how you've changed it to a two stall barn!
