Sadly I have to say mine are currently living wrapped in tissue paper in three storage crates. The animals live in a rather more upmarket wooden box that held two bottles of wine!

I have no idea! Naming that many Julips is only the start, I've got well over a thousand models in total and most of them do have names (you can explore my collection more clearly on my website, if you'd like to nosey through my naming patterns - they're all sorted by brand, scale, finish. There's still a few I need to take photos of, like the bigger felties and odd ones whose older pictures got lost, but the majority of them are up on here now : harecrofthorses.weebly.com/ ) Haha, wow! And if I picked up a pony: would you be able to tell it's name? There's no way you can remember them all, can you? Lovely website by the way! Do you plan to get them out any time soon or will they have to stay in there for a bit longer?

They will get out when I have the right place for them. There are some stables waiting for them (when I get round to painting/refurbishing them!) but they take up space too.

Here is my collection's new abode, just had this new storage cupboard built by the builders for my lovely Julips to live in. Absolutely love it, the sliding door means I can open the door for the models to be admired and appreciated, but it also means I can shut them away and keep them safe from a mischievous / thieving dog (who finds miniature items very tempting) and protects them from sunlight Julip Collection's new home by Yvonne Kilby, on Flickr
