After making Whiskers a new bridle and lead chain I decided to take a few photos and add a quick little story! 'In just one week time the annual stallion show will take place at the stud nearby. Being the incredibly handsome little stallion he is, Whiskers was invited to be shown in hand. As he is only three years old, he's still quite green, so Maisie has spend the last couple of weeks practising with leading him through the big arena. Although he can be really cheeky, Whiskers has been such a good boy, obediently walking and trotting besides her. However: standing square still seems to be quite the task, as he finds the mares in the field to be way more interesting to peek at... But - to Maisie's amazement - this morning he finally seemed to understand the gist of it! After posing for a quick photo and being rewarded with a big kiss on his nose by Maisie, Whiskers was allowed to go and spend the afternoon playing with the geldings in the paddock!'

This is so adorable. I love your dark background, it really makes the colours pop and makes everything look so dreamy.

This is wonderful, I love all your horses, tack, props, photography etc. etc. Your photography has a wonderfully vintage quality that I love.

This is so adorable. I love your dark background, it really makes the colours pop and makes everything look so dreamy. Ahh, thank you! I do sometimes think I should make a photo background, but I quite like the way it is now too, mostly because of the reason you gave. I just need to make a new ‘foreground’ scene some day, as this one is getting old. This setup however makes a cute little coffee table piece, which is what it is normally. I just put a different pony in every now and then. No need to pack it away after taking photos! This is wonderful, I love all your horses, tack, props, photography etc. etc. Your photography has a wonderfully vintage quality that I love. Thank you so much! I love photography a lot: I can literally spend ages taking the photos and editing after.
