I didn't realise I had so many of these! Arrow, who was a spare for one of the early official Julip live shows, down in Cattistock. I alllllmost bought him on the day, but put him back in favour of a different horse...then a few years the collector who did take him home that day put him up for sale, so I bought him after all! Bailey, another who came second (or actually, I think fourth) hand from another collector Myrddin, who was a 'Flame' but had terribly streaky markings so I redid his socks, with pale hooves, and gave him a more roany head, so he looks a little bit different to the catalogue Flames now Nobby, a catalogue 'Biscuit' but with his markings changed to be a portrait of a real horse I used to look after. And yes, ANOTHER 'Biscuit' who got altered into a horse I knew! This one is Honey, I rode her a few times for the yard owner, and borrowed her for a few weeks once when the horse I was loaning was recovering from a field accident. I knew I couldn't keep her, but we made friends enough that she deserved a portrait Julip anyway! Oliver, another catalogue Original but this one was made as a portrait with some proceeds going to charity. Patchy, a spare I chose at a live show, possibly Richmond? I just remember loving the patchy cob as soon as he came out of the box, and having to name him in a reeeeeal hurry when he placed in a show class about an hour later, hahah Prince, a catalogue 'Topsy' from when they were very pale And finally, Storm the Second, who came to live here last year and is the newest of all my welsh cobs even though he was second hand too!
