... I was absolutely not expecting him to arrive this soon! I've named him Wolle's Mr. Abbotsbury. He has a little mouth letter 'S', which should mean he was made in 1989. He was a bit of a gamble as all I had seen of him was a very unflattering photo of him wearing an old Julip blanket and a moldy bridle. Luckily he seemed to be in really good shape when I opened his box and took of his rug. He had quite a bit of mold on his face though and his mohair mane and tail are very brittle, but he's definitely looking way better after a little wash! I do have a bit of cream mohair on hand: so if his mane and tail decide to go, I'm all set to rehair him. And oh my: he's huge! I knew he would be a bit bigger, but he's literally towering over Gloucester and Blueberry. He surely didn't fit any of their halters, so I decided to make him one straight after his bath!
