Hi everyone!
After lurking on here and admiring everyone's lovely collections, I decided it was time I said hello! After discovering Wolle's Instagram and Christine's amazing blog, I am now officially a Julip convert. I've placed an order with Laura, and in the mean time I've been researching and delving into the world of miniature stable and accessory making. Any hints/tips/tricks with regards to Julip care are greatly appreciated, and I'll be having a look at the other threads as well for further information.
More about me: My name is Hayley, I'm 26 and I live on the West Coast of Australia. I've collected Breyer's for years, yet currently have three little Stablemates, as the rest of my collection is back home in the UK. I owned Julip's when I was a little girl, yet due to plentiful moves (army kid) they were sadly misplaced.
I look forward to getting to know you all and adding to my Julip herd!
Hayley

Hey Hayley, welcome to the forum what have you ordered? Or are you keeping him/her a secret until arrival?

Hi there Hayley! How awesome it is to see you over here. I'm just as curious about your first Julip as kits!

Thank you for the warm welcome! I've ordered a Dartmoor painted up as an Exmoor after the pony I used to loan when I was younger. I also love the breed in general! I know what you mean about being like crisps! Already eyeing up a dressage horse to! Hehe.

Dressage horses are excellent choices I have two, absolutely love the mould in Appaloosa!

I think the biggest thing for you to do when you get yours is keeping them somewhere cool (latex doesn't like extreme temperatures!) but other than that they're pretty low maintenance!

Thanks for the heads up regarding temperature. We saw many 35'C+ days over summer last year, so I'll be sure to keep them in the air conditioning!
