The last couple of evenings I've been quite busy making some new props and pieces of tack for my one-horse Julip stable. If you don't have a lot of ponies, you can at least have a lot of stuff, right? I did post most of these photos on my little blog, which is worth a look if you want to see more photos or would like to know what other things I'm working on. It's here: wollepluis.bromandcompany.nl. 1. So first of: I made Rin a warm stable rug. It's meant to look a bit worn, which is why I added some 'repairs' to the straps. 2. And with a new blanket comes a new halter and lead rope! 3. I also made her a two new brushes (matching with her blanket). The others are way older, but I decided to write a little tutorial for my blog on how to make them, so that's why I needed to make some extra! 4. And then these very, very, very fancy mikado sticks - ehh: jumping poles! What's left on my workbench are a two jumping stands waiting to be assembled, another fleecy rug with a decorative tail cord (still have to figure out how to make that work) and a bridle!

I never tire of seeing your work - everything looks so realistic and 'used', and the filtering and photography just makes them! I'm glad the tutorial helped - that rug looks super cosy!

I haven't posted anything in a while, but frankly I did make a few new pieces! Such as... a saddle! Never made anything like this before, but it was fun. I still need to make all the accessories like a girth (I actually made one, but I don't like the look of it), a bridle and a breast plate. I however already made this cute little sheepskin half pad. You can see more photos here: wollepluis.bromandcompany.nl/all-tacked-up-almost/And I also got a nice box to store all my things in! As you can see there's a little tan coloured saddle in there as well, it's a polo style saddle that I'm still working on. You can see more here: wollepluis.bromandcompany.nl/a-tiny-box-for-tiny-things/I post more frequently on my blog, but I also made an Instagram to go with it, for all Instagram fans!

That saddle is very good and the box is a really nice idea to display your tack - but you will need one for every Julip!

I made the ponies a paddock! More here: wollepluis.bromandcompany.nl/the-paddock/Well, I actually meant to redecorate one of the wooden trays I use in our home office with new candles and freshly potted plants, but I instead decided to turn it into a paddock where my ponies could hang out whilst I'm busy working. They're taking over my life...
