The Model of the Month for May 2016 is very slightly different this time, if you had a pot of magic fairy dust and could bring one of your Julips to life for a day, which model would you choose and why Please post a photo of one of your 'magic' Julips below to be in with a chance of winning a spectacularly spotty rosette Only one entry per person.

If I had a pot of magic fairy dust I'd bring Bramble to life... She was my first loan pony (14.2hh cob mare) and taught me so much in the short couple of years I had with her...she was sold because her owners had divorced and I couldn't afford to buy her on the day she left, I couldn't bring myself to say goodbye to her and I never got chance to. So if I had that dust, I'd bring her back and spend a good day with her, grooming and fussing her, letting her do her party trick of twanging my coat strap on my leg

I would like Domino to come alive as he is based on the real Domino a piebald cob I rode throughout the 1970's in the New Forest, He was at the Skylark stables in Burley and had a lovely high stepping trot and an armchair canter/gallop. Would love just once to be able to ride him through my beloved New Forest just one more time

H-h-hello, I'm Max. If there was a pot of magic fairy dust I'd like it sprinkled over me please. I might be sitting down but I'm actually a really bouncy little chap and if I could come alive for a day I would be able to run around chasing things all day, sticks, and cats, balls, and cats, Frisbees, and did I mention cats?
PS. If you do happen to find a pot of magic fairy dust please remember me, just a tiny pinch would do, it doesn't have to be a whole day's worth, I'm not greedy, an hour would be okay... a few minutes... seconds...?

I think posting about any of the real horses I have Julip versions of would make me too sad so I'm going to pick Mitka (although I'm not sure the real world could cope with Mitka). He's one of the smallest (and also poorest condition) of my Julips but probably the biggest personality. Facts about Mitka: - He is a purebred Lesser Spotted Pigpone - His favourite food is apples but he will also mug you for a polo mint and he likes tea (four sugars please). He once won an apple-bobbing gymkhana race despite the fact it was the riders who were supposed to bob for the apples and he hadn't even been entered in the gymkhana anyway - He has a girlfriend named Mishka - He isn't a fan of being ridden but does enjoy 'helping' with poo-picking (this mostly consists of throwing the tools around and knocking over the poo buckets or wheelbarrow). - He collects animals. He has his own pet goldfish ('Mitka's Fish') and more recently acquired a pig named Violet and a sheep currently known as Sheep - One time he accidentally ran in the Grand National, AND WON! It was awesome! (This was almost certainly just a dream he had but shhh, don't tell him that) - He bosses around horses three times his size

If I could bring a Julip to life, it would be Vortex. In part because I love Norwegian Fjord horses, but mostly because I think he'd be "tricksy" in the best way. The Welsh Cob I ride is like that--will absolutely take advantage of a rider who's unsure, but is totally game to do anything with a confident rider who keeps after him. I love the challenge, and think Vortex would also be a good type of challenging.

RTF Popping Candy as she's been there and bought the t-shirt and up for anything with anyone. She may be a warmblood but will take the kids to a gymkhana, raise lovely foals or compete at top level ODEs!

It would be easy to go for one of the ones I have as specials of real horses, but I'm going to go with the handsome Duke P1010965 by Josie Thompson, on Flickr He strikes me as the sort of horse you'd trust to look after you and you could put anyone on while also being able to step up a gear and be a great hunt horse, or do a nice little dressage test.

I'll try and pick one who isn't based on a real horse too... This is Peachblossom: I think she just looks like a lovely friendly horse, very genuine and willing to please - possibly with a mareish streak but I've got on well with a few of those over the years I also have a big soft spot for roans so would love a real horse this colour, not that I would choose a horse based on colour but it would be nice to have a roan! In a absolutely total contrast to her name she's actually named after a warhorse from the Protector of the Small books, who was a grumpy gelding only one girl page could ride, but I thought it was a cute name and he was roan too

I also don't want to pick a real horse, mainly because that would feel like picking favourites and would seem a bit mean to the real versions I would choose Starman - he looks so kind and friendly but I think he'd be a lot of fun and he's just so handsome

I would bring Cearan Mhoire Cheeky to life as he looks like he would be such a fun, personable little mount. I imagine him being sporty and willing with just a small wicked pony streak. I like them just a little evil

If I had to choose one of my Julips to sprinkle with magic dust and bring to life, I would choose Sapphire. Because who wouldn't want their very own live unicorn to cuddle?!

For me it would have to be Rosa - who can resist a squishy piebald hairy cob? Rosa by Christine Sutcliffe, on Flickr

Sorry, late by a day again this month, doesn't time fly, I can't believe we're in June already! I really enjoyed reading all the reasons everyone had chosen for bringing their particular Julips to life, it was as always, a very close call but the winner of the 'Model of the Month for May' is.... Bramble owned by helen1983, I would love to have seen her leg twanging party trick! Your spectacularly spotty rosette will be on it's way shortly Bramble will now go through to the grand final, to see the new Model of the Month for June, please go to the new thread.
