If anyone has a Vintage Original Fell Pony in good condition they are happy to part with please get in touch. It would have a very good home with my herd, would be very much treasured Absolutely love the mould and desperate to add one to my herd

Lol it does seems to be a popular mould in very short supply. I won't give up hope just yet though!

I really like him, too. He's in the top five in my mold revival wish list.

In no particular order and excluding the Shetland since you had us vote on him earlier in the year: - Child's Hunter
- Old Yearling
- Fell
- Jumping Pony
- Cart Horse
Extended list - "Camel" foal
- Old foal (the one fairly recently discontinued)
- Highland
- Irish
- Straight-head TB (forgot about him!)

I actually don't think a lot of the older moulds suit the sculpting style of the current range, tending to have chubby legs and faces with little definition, oddly sausagey mid sections instead of rounded bellies, stubby ears and short noses, etc - they're nice as vintage Julips and I do like them a lot for what they are, but I wouldn't want to see them being re-made as modern ones! The few exceptions are the TB and connemara, who made a very welcome comeback and fit in nicely, plus the fell and welsh mountain (like little'n'large versions of the same mould, they are, must have been the same sculptor!), and the old lipizzaner.

Yeah, I agree that a lot of the older ones wouldn't work as modern Julips but those with similar sculpting styles would I think!
In no particular order, my top five would be...
Welsh Mountain Fell Irish Moorland (I'd prefer this one over the Shetland, personally, it has a nicer head!) Polo Pony

Ditto that Georgie, I'm not really a fan of the really older models and mostly like the middle-aged Julips I think Fell, Welsh Mountain and Lippi are my most wanted (to be recast - won't be finding an affordable Fell in excellent condition any time soon!)!

I really want the welsh mountain, show pony, the old TB and the cleveland back. Also I'd like to see the old welsh pony back (and probably the moorland). I think there's a bit of shortage of smaller pony moulds and of taller 'horsier' horses like the cleveland and lighter weight (but tall) horses (like the old TB) (most of the bigger moulds are cobby types and arabs). I'd like the fell back too but I'd probably prefer more range of smaller ponies and bigger horses ahead of that one. And I'd like the 80s foal back too although as I have several of them already but none of those other moulds I'd put that further down my list too.

Vacancy of Vintage Fell now filled! Although having one in the flesh has made me love the mould even more!! Ahh if only I could afford to purchase multiple vintage fells (not going to happen! lol)
