Christmas jumpers - they had to be done! I mean how hard could it be knitting Christmas jumpers for Julip riders? Answer: very fiddly!!!

WOW! Those are amazing! Fiddly doesn't even begin to cover it I would guess. My riders will be very jealous if they see those, I'd better keep their eyes covered.

They're AMAZING! Do you do commissions?! X I made a jumper like that for a rider, although I used printed fabric rather than actual knitting, lol.

I gave up on my mini jumpers - you have just inspired me to untangle the mess and have another go

Thank you for all your lovely comments and likes
In answer to your questions, the jumpers were knitted on 1.25mm knitting needles (yes that is very small!). You can get fine crochet cotton or wool, but I tend to use a 100% cotton double knitting yarn - it is one that has eight strands, and I cut 3 metre lengths and separate off two strands to use at a time (it does like tangling when being separated, I find having a mum on the other end comes in very handy!). And be warned not all yarns like being separated, some of them fall apart!

How lovely! And thanks for sharing the how-to--my guess was going to be embroidery floss as I've seen itty bitty things knitted with that. It's probably best I don't have any Julip riders or I'd be trying to knit them sweaters too!
